New Summer Pony Day Experience


Pony Day Experience

from 9am to 3pm on the following days during the Summer Holidays:

  • 28th, 29th, 30th July

  • 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th August

  • 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th of August

  • 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th of August

  • No activities week of the 22nd August

  • 30th, 31st August, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of September

£60 per child

What happens during a Pony day experience?

  • You will learn how to catch a pony in the field;

  • groom, plaiting, and learn about tack.

  • Making up your stable and

  • making hay nets and filling up the water,

  • connection work and clicker

  • training with your ponies.

Stables will need to be mucked out and left clean and tidy. You will learn how to, make beds, hay nets, feed, tack up/off, cleaning tack, grooming, leading ponies in and out of the fields. If the weather is not kind to us warm/waterproof clothing to be worn, no trainers, We do have some hats however it is best to bring your own if you hav


e one, hats to be worn whilst working around the ponies. Sun cream if it is hot and plenty of water/juice. For further information on these days please email: info@horsewyse.org.uk for more information and a booking form. Please remember it is limited to only 4 children.
